I didn’t clock much on my Steamdeck time as it doesn’t seem to count non-steam games…
Honestly my Steamdeck has kinda become a bigger beefier PSP for me, mostly PS2 games or PC racing games of that era.

Game hasn’t received an update in what will be a year later this month.
The main dev keeps promising a huge update is in the works but won’t so much as drop a hotfix for obvious flaws in the game currently. They made more than enough money to bring on extra staff but just didn’t.
BUT you can still easily find games most days on the main modes (assuming you live in the US/EU) And the games been left in a pretty decent state.
I’ve clocked in 319hours and still think Battlebit has been the best FPS game we’ve seen in nearly a decade. Which is why it’s so frustrating the way the devs are handling it currently…
I play Plutonium BO2 and MW3 semi regularly. Would play more BO1 but it kinda runs like shit through Wine/Proton sadly…
I installed it through Lutris and also had issues with updates until I switched the wine version to GE-Proton 9-20 and that seemed to fix that.
And yeah getting used to the Linux file directory is kinda a pain at first but something you gotta get used to. In Wine games you’ll find your root directory listed as Z: you should be able to find your Steam directory in.
/home/YOURUSERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/
Or if you have other drives mounted you should know where you mounted them, It’s normally in /run/media/
Another tip would be to cap your FPS to something like 125 because them old Cod games start acting weird at higher frame rates, and you want to keep the FPS as consistent as you can since the mouse sensitive is also tied to the frame rate for some stupid reason!
Didn’t have a dedicated day for it but I used to hang out around the office my mother worked at if dad was on late shift.
I was put “in charge” of the printer and paper shredder.
I ended up actually working at that company in my early 20s after my mother had already left. The Boss and I.T. guy who still worked there joked about my “previous experience at the job”.
Gonna steal an idea from Karl Pilkington and leave a dishwasher somewhere on Mars for one of the rovers to find.
I’m no expert by any means but.
The the LTSC branch of windows is the enterprise version Microsoft sell only to businesses that require less flashy feature and longer security support since most business don’t update machines frequently. IOT just seems to be the LTSC version with the longest supported update cycle.
It’s slightly less bloated at least the Win10 version doesn’t come with pre-installed games and didn’t even have the Microsoft store installed by default. It still comes with telemetry but heard some say online they’ve had an easier time disabling it and keeping it disabled on the LTSC versions.
It’s “free” as in a sandwich you find on the side of the road is free. Microsoft REALLY doesn’t want regular users using their business only services but people always find a way.
It’s really only for people who currently refuse Linux but also can’t/won’t upgrade to Windows 11. I’m only suggesting it because I’d rather people at least still get security updates than use a completely unsupported OS.
While I love Linux and wish more people would switch over, I know damn well most people just want to keep using Windows. The people who REALLY want Linux will find it.
Right now I’ve been offering my friends n family who don’t want Win11 two options.
I help them get started using Linux.
Or I show them how to get the IoT LTSC branch of Win10 that’ll still get security updates until at the latest 2032.
Most of them including the more tech savy folks just want to keep Win10 with updates, Some have opted to try Linux on a dual boot but few have stuck with it.
Couldn’t think of any temporary fix I’d done…Then I remembered I’ve been running an network cable out my bedroom window and into the room where the router is for nearly a decade now.
I told myself I’d get around to drilling a hole for it…In the previous place and ended up doing the same thing when I moved here over 3 years ago.
I’ve been told if you see a censored meme it’s probably because someone took it from facebook.
I dunno what’s going on with the moderation over there as I deleted my account nearly a decade ago, back when getting full gore popping up in your feed wasn’t uncommon…
You can just download the offical Minecraft launcher for Linux but do yourself a favor and grab Prismlauncher. Even on Windows it’s just overall better.
If I recall correctly Linux Mint has flatpak support out of the box so you should be able to download it from the flathub link on the offical Prismlauncher site.
My personal experience has been hit n miss.
Was using one 4TB Seagate for 11 years then bought a newer model to replace it since I thought it was gonna die any day. That new one died within 6 months. The old one still works although I don’t use it for for anything important now.
