They are not just posting the black square on their insta and then moving on, like half their posts are about fighting inequity, encouraging people to vote for actual human rights, openly pro abortion, pro immigrant rights, pro black rights, pro women’s right, about fighting climate change etc. they are walking the walk, conservative dollars be damned

We (me, spouse and 1 child) rent a big house with my grandmother who I care for. It’s 4 bedroom/2 bath, got a kitchen, living room, laundry room, a large dining room and extra living room that used to be a garage. It’s my parent’s place, while they live in an apartment for work.

The huge place is not worth it. I hate taking care of my grandmother. She has dementia and I’m burned out but we can’t afford to live anywhere else.

Idk. My mental health has been a lot better since I blocked the words rape and torture from my feed. I know that stuff is happening. I don’t need constant details and pictures of the victims daily. A sub about the war is for that stuff. My adding uplifting things to that community would be inappropriate. It’s better for me to remove myself.
