My wife uses a TV to watch YouTube, My kid uses a phone, My other kid uses a tablet.
Saying just use ad block isn’t feasible for everyone.

On a TV use SmartTube. On QN Android device (phone or tablet) use LibreTube (or InnerTune for music)

The stock YouTube app can be disabled, and they only have one choice… Works for my kids.
This. Remove/block options that allow ads and keep the ones that filter then.

But something like $7 for premium without ads is absolutely sustainable. But, you know, line go up more.
Yeah the prices do keep creeping up… And they should have kept Premium Lite without YT Music
